Responding to the Outbreak of COVID19 Pandemic

Today we are going through a truly unprecedented situation. The serious COVID – 19 pandemic has been causing a huge impact on people’s lives, families, businesses, and communities. How we, at Solunus, are approaching the situation amidst this crisis.

Firstly, our love and prayers go out to those whose lives have been impacted by the Coronavirus. We extend our heartfelt wishes for their speedy recovery. We are thankful for the Telangana government as well as selfless healthcare workers who are on the front lines doing their job without any hesitation.

Secondly, at Solunus, we are focused on the health and safety of our employees. To maintain social distancing, we have encouraged our employees across the USA and India, to work from home. This eased our employees off worries about the virus, and they continue to deliver the highest levels of performance, availability, and security.

Companies big and small around the world have begun rolling out mandatory remote working schemes to promote social distancing to stop the Covid-19 spread

Our employees will be working with our clients through digital channels and be available round the clock. For now, we’ll be postponing in-person meetings and turn them to virtual conversations, to keep clear communications on the deliverables.

We have set up a portfolio of policies and actions, including prevention at the workplace. In addition to making it easier for people to learn more about symptoms, we have established multi-channel communications, and arranged confidential reporting mechanisms in case employees are feeling unsafe to express.

We have also set up a cross-functional COVID-19 response team that directly reports to the CEO. This team includes members from every function and department to assist. These team members will be stepping out of their day-to-day roles and dedicate more towards the virus-awareness activities.

All sections of our society – including businesses and employers – must play a role if we are to stop the spread of this disease.
