300+ attendees, 8 featured speakers, wonderful cultural performances and tons of entertainment – these words aptly describe Spark 2023, the annual mega fest of the Demeter Group, the parent organization of Solunus Inc. The event was held at Hotel Le Meridien, Gachibowli, Hyderabad on 11 February 2023, and it was a roaring success. From keynote presentations and rewards and recognitions to gaining insights from industry experts and more, Spark 2023 provided valuable knowledge and unlimited fun. Let’s catch up with all the highlights of the event.
1. Valuable Insights by Eminent Business and Technology Leaders
The event took off with the keynote presentation by Mr. Sudhakar Pennam, the CEO of Solunus. The presentation brought to light the journey we would be embarking on in the next 3 years. Everyone was surprised when the presentation was made on a hologram, underscoring the importance of cutting-edge technologies in meeting our vision for 2026. We were very excited to know our group is well on its way to reach the billion-dollar mark in the coming 3 years and eagerly look forward to witness future accomplishments highlighted in the presentation.
Later, a presentation was made by Mr. Banu Ramamurthy, the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Solunus on various emerging trends in the technology space. He explained how we can make the best use of the trends and enhance our capabilities to achieve success in our career. It was a very informative presentation, indeed!
Mr. Abhay Deshpande, the founder of Recykal, a provider of end-to-end waste management solutions shared his experiences about harnessing the power of technology to build better, more sustainable communities. His achievements are a fine testament to what dedication and perseverance can deliver.
This was followed by a presentation by Master Hemesh Chadalawada, a 16-year-old prodigal inventor, who created a device that helps caregivers monitor the whereabouts of patients suffering from Alzheimer’s disease, in real-time. The presentation was truly inspiring and proved once again one need not have a PhD from a prestigious university or work in a world-renowned research institution to innovate – all it takes is the right mindset and the passion to make a difference.
We also had a very insightful presentation by Mrs. Aakshita Khare, General Manager (HR) of Solunus, which explained the latest trends in workforce management and how they help maximize productivity. Mrs. Khare also listed various initiatives being launched to streamline HR processes and boost employee satisfaction.
The annual fest also featured the unveiling of the brand-new logo of the Demeter Group, the parent entity of Solunus. The logo symbolizes our vision and aspirations.
2. Spark 2023 at Metaverse
Spark 2023 was probably one of the first corporate events to be streamed live on metaverse, a virtual realm that provides immersive 3-D experiences. The streaming allowed those of us who couldn’t attend the conclave experience the excitement as if we were physically present at the event.
Mr. Sudheer Koppuravuri, the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and co-founder of Mavid Studios, and Mr. Murali Reddy Duvvuru, the founder of Bullieverse, elucidated why metaverse is the future of all things social for business. They also listed the benefits of tapping into the immense potential of the metaverse and adopting the novel technological paradigm.
3. Grand Felicitation of Loyal Employees and Outstanding Performers
At Solunus, we always appreciate our people’s good work. SPARK 2023 featured a grand ceremony to felicitate top-performing and loyal employees of Solunus and reward them for their rich contributions to the company.
4. Mentimeter Session to Feel the Pulse of the Crowd
Hosting and organizing an event is one thing; knowing whether the audience is really enjoying it is another. Mrs. Khare conducted a Mentimeter session to measure the engagement of the attendees. The results were inspiring, engaging and hilarious at the same time.
5. Underscoring the Need for Corporate Social Responsibility Initiatives
Philanthropy is something which is very close to the heart of Mr. Sudhakar Pennam. And it is the major reason for starting the Pennam Foundation in 2022. He explained how the Pennam Foundation has been contributing to the betterment of unprivileged groups of the society in various parts of the world.
6. Loads of Fun and Frolic
No event is complete without a dash of entertainment. Spark 2023 featured amazing cultural performances by our CEO and members of our team. The stand-up comedian Sai Kiran had us break into peals of laughter by sharing various funny incidents. We swayed to the tunes of great music, as members of the band Raaga mesmerized us with their amazing performance.
Spark 2023 was a treat to all of us here at Solunus. We thoroughly enjoyed various programs held at the conclave. The mega fest was truly memorable and left an indelible impression on everyone. Looking forward to all the fun and action next year.
