
Strategic Account Executive
Experience:
3 to 5 Years
Key Responsibilities:
Forecast accurately and deliver on sales within a specified US sales territory and meet the sales target
Actively pursue and hunt for new business opportunities in accounts
Forecast sales activity and revenue achievement
Network within the Salesforce ecosystem, industry, market and accounts to bring new client opportunities
Be able to plan and facilitate strategic account planning sessions to foster collaboration between partners and builda strong pipeline
Co-sell and work collaboratively work with all partners
Communicate effectively at all client levels, including C-level decision makers
Understand the specific business and technical needs of the client
Manage all phases of the business development cycles to successfully close new and existing opportunities (including proposal development, implementation, scope and client presentations)
Proactively approach the market segment through active leadership in industry and community organizations
Maintain and nurture client relationships to ensure additional business
Education and Required Experience:
A BA/BS or an equivalent degree; MBA is a plus; an equivalent combination of education and experience can also be considered
3-5 years of experience in handling complex sales, solution selling and selling to strategic accounts
Prior experience in selling professional services, preferably in a cloud application environment
A track record of meeting and exceeding quotas
A history of successful solutions-oriented services sales
Prior experience in SaaS Industry is highly desirable
Excellent communication skills and should be able to seamlessly interact with both internal teams and the client
Must be able to travel up to 40% including international travel
Candidates with Salesforce.com experience in a business development role are strongly desired
