Strategic Account Executive

Experience:

3 to 5 Years

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Forecast accurately and deliver on sales within a specified US sales territory and meet the sales target

  • Actively pursue and hunt for new business opportunities in accounts

  • Forecast sales activity and revenue achievement

  • Network within the Salesforce ecosystem, industry, market and accounts to bring new client opportunities

  • Be able to plan and facilitate strategic account planning sessions to foster collaboration between partners and builda strong pipeline

  • Co-sell and work collaboratively work with all partners

  • Communicate effectively at all client levels, including C-level decision makers

  • Understand the specific business and technical needs of the client

  • Manage all phases of the business development cycles to successfully close new and existing opportunities (including proposal development, implementation, scope and client presentations)

  • Proactively approach the market segment through active leadership in industry and community organizations

  • Maintain and nurture client relationships to ensure additional business

Education and Required Experience: 

  • A BA/BS or an equivalent degree; MBA is a plus; an equivalent combination of education and experience can also be considered

  • 3-5 years of experience in handling complex sales, solution selling and selling to strategic accounts

  • Prior experience in selling professional services, preferably in a cloud application environment

  • A track record of meeting and exceeding quotas

  • A history of successful solutions-oriented services sales

  • Prior experience in SaaS Industry is highly desirable

  • Excellent communication skills and should be able to seamlessly interact with both internal teams and the client

  • Must be able to travel up to 40% including international travel

  • Candidates with Salesforce.com experience in a business development role are strongly desired
