Job Description

You must have prior success selling complex technology solutions to executives and senior technical managers of medium to large size companies. You excel at finding and closing new business and have strong consultative selling skills. You have a track record of exceeding sales goals; have a thorough account planning skills; are able to effectively present complex technical issues and work well in a team-selling environment. You have experience selling IT services including application development and support, systems integration particularly for Software as Service (SAAS) platforms like Salesforce.com. Any cloud services selling, application conversion and database migration experience is a plus. You also maintain industry expertise in one or more of the following: financial services, insurance, healthcare, emerging technologies, pharmaceutical, life sciences, and/or state and federal government.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure trust and credibility is built with customers
  • Must prospect, build relationships, and close business
  • Build and maintain a healthy sales opportunity pipeline in Salesforce
  • Organize and present account plans at the start of each quarter
  • Meet/Exceed quarterly and full-year sales quotas
  • Sell strategic service solutions, develop and present proposals, team with technical resources across Solunus throughout the sales cycle
  • Ensure consistent communications between sales, delivery, and management to ensure success for each customer project, as well as identifying new opportunities
  • Develop solutions with and for customers/prospects, and coordinate with the services delivery leads to determine resource requirements.
  • Maintain technology and sales knowledge via research, reference material, professional publications, personal networks, and professional organizations

Location Requirements

The ideal candidate will cover the West Coast region and can work from their base i.e. CA, WA, OR with travel up to 40% to Headquarters and customer locations as and when required.

Compensation

Solunus offers a base salary plus a competitive commission structure.

Job Description

Solunus, Inc – Strategic Account Executive/Business Dev. Mgr. for Dallas, TX / California (Remote).

Seeking proven, quota-carrying sales performers to help grow our Salesforce customer base. Responsibilities include generating new business in targeted accounts and in new logo accounts, as well as playing a key role to drive strategic initiatives. Additional efforts include: lead qualification for all leads and sales opportunities, up-selling and leveraging business from new and established customer relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately forecast and deliver on sales within a specified US sales territory
  • Actively pursue and hunt for new business opportunities in accounts.
  • Forecast sales activity and revenue achievement
  • Network within the industry, market, and accounts to bring new client opportunities.
  • Co-sell and work collaboratively work with all partners
  • Communicate effectively at all client levels, including C-level decision makers
  • Understand client business and technical and specific needs.
  • Manage all phases of the business development cycles to successful close new and existing opportunities (including proposal development, implementation, scope, and client presentations).
  • Proactively approach the market segment through active leadership in industry and community organizations.
  • Maintain and nurture client relationships to ensure additional business.

Requirements

  • BA/BS or equivalent; MBA is a plus; or equivalent combination of education and experience is highly desired
  • 3-5 years’ experience with complex sales, solution selling and strategic accounts selling
  • Prior experience in business application sales, preferably in a cloud application environment
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding quotas
  • Proven track record of successful solutions-oriented services sales.
  • Prior experience in SaaS Industry is highly desirable.
  • Superior communication skills with internal resources and external clients is required .
  • Must be able to travel up to 40% including international travel
  • Candidates with Salesforce experience in a business development role are strongly desired.

Location Requirements

This is a position for our office in Dallas, TX / California (Remote).

Compensation

Solunus offers a very competitive compensation plan with accelerating commissions and tremendous upside earnings potential that has no cap.
